BSB Health Department Walk In Clinic set for August 21st
The time of year has arrived where fall sports activities are about to get started and our youngsters and parents begin to prepare for a new school year. Has your child had their fall sports physical? Are they up to date on their vaccines? For many parents the big question is "how will I afford all of this stuff". The Butte-Silver Bow Health Department could help get you and your kids set for fall with a walk in vaccination and sports physical clinic which will be taking place at the Health Department Building at 25 W. Front Street on Thursday, August 21st.
VACCINATIONS/IMMUNIZATIONS
Vaccinations and immunizations are important for all children but particularly for those entering preschool, kindergarten and 7th Grade. Make sure your young student has proper and up to date immunizations. No insurance? No problem. The Health Department has no-cost vaccines available and no appointment is needed between 3pm and 6pm at the Health Department.
SPORTS PHYSICALS
Sports Physicals are not only an important first step before fall practices begin but they are mandatory. Unfortunately, they can also be an expensive step for parents, but again the Health Department can help. Nurse Practitioner Jasmine will complete examinations for student athletes, again no appointment is required during the walk in clinic, for only $25.
Need some extra motivation to come to the walk in clinic? The Health Department will be giving away Dairy Queen gift cards to participants while supplies last.
