Do you fondly look back on your high school prom and wish you could go back for just one more night and relive the awesome memories? The formal wear. The music. The food. The big hair, if you were in high school in the 80s. Well, they can't do much about the hair situation, but Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Butte wants to help you recreate the rest with one of their biggest and most popular events of the year. Their 2024 Adult Prom is set for April 6 at the Star Lanes Event Center.

Can you refurbish an old piece of furniture like you were Bob Vila? Or do you run away in fear at the sight of tools and stain. Either way, you will find a welcome spot at the Mother Lode Theater's "Junk to Gem" fundraiser coming up at the Mother Lode Wednesday evening.

Weren't we just talking about how we couldn't believe summer was finally here? Well just like that we are in mid-August and down to the final two "Lunch in the Park" events at Emma Park that we've enjoyed over the past several weeks. Tomorrow it is going to be one of the hottest days of the year and Emma Park will have several ways for folks to enjoy the sunshine and a number of delicious options for lunch.

This Wednesday, Lunch in the Park will move to the evening and become Dinner in the Park and a fantastic evening is planned for those attending the event at Emma Park. The gazebo will certainly be near occupancy as the Butte Symphony will provide the music and many familiar food trucks will be on hand including familiar favorites such as Charee's Thai Food, Extra Sprinkles, 406 Fresh, Rockin' MT and Blissful Berry Bowls plus this week there will be full bar service available for those 21 years of age and older.

You can bet you will hear original selections from Juniper Creek's new EP as well as their unique covers of many more at Emma Park on Wednesday as they are scheduled to go on at 11:30am. Bring your picnic blankets, your lawn chairs and your appetites as the fine folks from Bissful Berry Bowls are expected as well as, Charee's Thai Food, Rockin' MT Big Sky West Mex, Blissful Berry Bowls, 406 Fresh and Extra Sprinkles.

Uptown Butte's popular Lunch in the Park series is a go again for Summer 2023 and this year's entertainment and vendor lineup has been set. Lunch in the Park again will take place Wednesdays from 11:30am to 1:30pm at Emma Park with food, live music and activities for the kids from July 12 to August 23rd save for the August 2nd event with the Butte Symphony which will be a special "Dinner in the Park" event from 6 until 8pm.
