Weren't we just talking about how we couldn't believe summer was finally here? Well just like that we are in mid-August and down to the final two "Lunch in the Park" events at Emma Park in a series that we've enjoyed over the past several weeks. Tomorrow it is going to be one of the hottest days of the year and Emma Park will have several ways for folks to enjoy the sunshine and a number of delicious options for lunch along with some great music.

Dig City Supply is the weekly sponsor and this alone is reason to show up.  Jon Wick and his crew are responsible for some of the incredible Montana Tech, Butte High and Butte Central apparel you've seen around town and tomorrow will be a great chance to see what new stuff they have for the fall.  It will also be a great chance for the kids to play around alongside the foam machine so remember to bring a few extra towels.

Lunch in the Park will run from 11:30 to 1:30 tomorrow with Catfish Carl and will wrap up for the season next Wednesday with Ken Rich.  Guests are encouraged to patronize the food trucks on hand as well as nearby Uptown restaurants but coolers are allowed.  Organizers do ask that you please leave your pets at home.
