Puffs, or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic (One Act for Young Wizards) will be presented this weekend at the Mother Lode Theatre.

TEN24 is a play festival presented by The Orphan Girl Children’s Theatre, in which a play is written, rehearsed, and performed. All in a 24-hour window.

On St. Patrick's Day, March 17th, numerous events will undoubtedly flood cities nationwide! One in particular set a few days prior on Tuesday, March 14th, in Uptown Butte, will surely get everyone into the "spirit o' the green." On the Mother Lode Theatre stage, those fond of Ireland's heritage will get a chance to embrace the outstanding performance of Ireland with Michael: LIVE. This show will feature the works of Emmy Award-nominated tenor Michael Londra, who was also the Voice of Riverdance on Broadway for years. During Ireland with Michael: LIVE, Londra will intertwine stories and songs with a backdrop of breathtaking film footage of Emerald Isle. A collaboration of fiddles, bagpipes and Irish dancers will set the stage for this unique production.

Just because it's winter doesn't mean you shouldn't do the things you enjoy. This past weekend, many took in the excitement of Snoflinga. Now, if you're not entirely on board with activities that involve physically touching snow, then take in some events that won't leave your toes cold and requires wearing a parka. We all need a good laugh from time to time. Family, colleagues, and friends crack us up at the right moment, and then there are the times we "seek out" a good laugh by binge-watching our favorite sitcom or stand-up comedian on television and other forms of media. But, what's even better, is when you can catch a LIVE comedy act! Thanks to the Mother Lode Theatre, a chance to laugh the night away is underway, with the start of their Underground Comedy Series Saturday, January 21st! That's when you can catch the comedic stylings of stand-up comedian and writer Logan Guntzelman. Gutzelman was recently chosen as a stand-out at Montreal's Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and even dominated New York's Roastmasters Invitational. Guntzelman's laugh-a-minute antics have also earned her invitations to comedy festivals in Boston and the 10,000 Laughs Festival in Minneapolis.
