Rockin the Rivers

You don't survive for more than 2 decades as an annual entertainment event in Montana unless you're doing a lot of things right and giving people a good experience. Especially if you're a music festival. Well, since 2001, Rockin' the Rivers has done that and more and has become one of the premiere music festivals in the Northwest. How? By bringing in great bands to a gorgeous natural environment and mixing that with accessible camping, an array of different food and merchandise vendors and thousands of rock fans ready to get down for 3 days in the Montana summer. It's a recipe for fun and organizers are gearing up for a big show this August.

We're all well aware that Butte is its own unique town in terms of history, demographics and attitude. But Butte is also sometimes a bit behind the state when it comes to the arrival of Spring. Here are a few signs that Spring, indeed, may have arrived for good
