The Pipe and Drum Band of the Edmonton Police Service is coming back to Butte for St. Patrick's Day celebrations. Since the 1980s their family-friendly performances have become synonymous with St. Patrick's Day in Butte and their whirlwind three-day Mining City tour schedule is up for this weekend's events.

Today letting your kids run around after dark is not a good idea and there are even some neighborhoods here in Butte that you really shouldn't go door-to-door. 2023 is indeed different from 1983, but there are still some places where trick or treating is not only safe, but encouraged. Places where the residents are truly happy to see kids in costume. And here's where you'll find them.

U.S. Senator Steve Daines called on the U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies to ensure an expansion of the Butte Veterans Home.
