
Students Serve Up Thanksgiving Cheer For The Elderly
One of the proud traditions of Butte Central Catholic High School is the annual Thanksgiving Dinner for the elderly and homebound that takes place every year in November. The dinner is named for LaVerne Combo who taught, directed and counseled generations of Butte Central students. For decades, this annual dinner has been an enjoyable evening for not only Butte's elderly and homebound, but also for our many special needs citizens and many times those who would not otherwise be able to enjoy a Thanksgiving Dinner.
Everything about this dinner is a presentation of Butte Central Catholic High School, from the turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes to the seating and entertainment, all are the works of Butte Central students, faculty and staff. This year's event is in its planning stages right now and if this event is something that interests you, here is all of the information you need to take advantage of this wonderful, free event. The Butte Central Catholic High School student body, administration, faculty, and staff will sponsor the annual Laverne Combo Thanksgiving Dinner for the elderly and homebound of Butte. This event will take place on Tuesday, November 18th, at 5:00 PM in the Butte Central High School gymnasium.
Delivery is available for those unable to attend. To make dine-in reservations or arrange for delivery, please call the high school office at (406) 782-6761 by Thursday, November 13th, at 4:00 PM. There is no cost to attend the dinner or for delivery.
