Tip-A-Cop Fundraiser for Special Olympics Montana Tuesday at Butte’s MacKenzie River

When discussing Montana athletes, some of the truest to the definition are our Special Olympians.  They play for the love of the game, for the spirt of friendship and the thrill of being part of a team.  Their joy is pure and is really something to see when you see these very special athletes doing what they love.

The Montana Highway Patrol has long been strong supporters of Special Olympics Montana with their annual Torch Run and many other events to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics Montana.  This Tuesday at MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill and Pub in Butte is a very special date as it's the Tip-A-Cop event where Montana Highway Patrol officers along with other members of our local law enforcement community will be teaming up with local Special Olympians to serve you delicious food and raise money for Special Olympics Montana.

Stop by after 3pm and you will be waited on by an officer and a Special Olympian, and any and all tips that you leave will be given to Special Olympics Montana.  As an added gift from Mac River, $2 from every Guardian pizza sold will also be donated.  The Guardian is delicious with pesto sauce, seasoned chicken, spinach, red onions, roasted garlic and mozzarella.  This pizza is only made once per year, specifically for the Tip-A-Cop night.
