Easter dinner, a special bingo fundraiser and the return of Salad Bar Fridays highlight a busy April at Butte's Belmont Senior Citizens Center, 615 E. Mercury.  Here's a look at events and happening that will be taking place this month.

WEEKLY HAPPENINGS

  • Bingo is played on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 1pm.
  • Pinochle games take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1pm.  Cost is $1 plus .25 per set.
  • Sneakers Exercise Class is from 10am to 11am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  $1.50 per class.
  • Wood Carvers meet on Thursdays at 8:30am.
  • Tuesdays, fresh cinnamon rolls and coffee are served from 8am to 10:30am.

RIDES FOR SHOPPING AND MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS

  • Rides to medical appointments and shopping, please call (406)723-7773 at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Doctor appointments are Mondays and Wednesdays. $8 round trip or $5 one way.  Times depend on availablility.
  • Shopping trips are Fridays, $10, dependent on availability.

  • Tech Nurses - Wednesdays, April 2nd, April 9th, April 16th, April 23rd and April 30th at 10am.
  • Craft Circle with Lorisa - Tuesday, April 15th and Tuesday, April 29th at 10:30am.
  • Movie Days, Tuesday, April 8th and Tuesday, April 22nd.
  • AARP Driving Course, Thursday, April 10th at 9am.
  • Thursday, April 17th - Easter Dinner from 12pm to 1pm.
  • Hearing Aid Cleaning with Robin, Wednesday, April 16th at 10:30am.
  • Grief Support Group sponsored by Honeybee Hospice and Axleson's Cremation is Wednesday, April 16th at 1pm.
  • April Birthday Lunch - Thursday, April 24th, 12pm.
  • Bingo Fundraising Night sponsored by Butte Tin, Thursday, April 17th.  $10 to play, $6 for dinner only.  Call for pickup, (406) 723-7773.

CLOSED DAYS FOR APRIL

  • Friday, April 18th for Good Friday
  • Monday, April 20th for Easter Monday
