
Here is a look at the Belmont Center’s March activities
We're springing into March at Butte's Belmont Senior Citizens Center with an array of activities and happenings. Here is a look at some of the things that are going on this month at the Belmont, 615 E. Mercury.
MARCH ACTIVITIES
- Tuesday, March 11 - Movie Day
- Wednesday, March 12 - Hearing Aid Cleaning with Robin at 10:30am
- Thursday, March 13 - AARP Driving Course at 9am
- Thursday, March 13 - Bingo Fundraising Nite at the Belmont sponsored by Copper City Law. $6 for dinner, $10 to play. Call 723-7773 for bus pickup.
- Monday, March 17 - St. Patrick's Day Dinner from 12pm to 1pm
- Wednesday, March 19 - Grief Support Group sponsored by Honeybee Hospice and Axelson's Cremation - 1pm
- Tuesday, March 18 - Craft Circle with Lorisa at 10:30am
- Tuesday, March 25 - Movie Day
- Thursday, March 27th - March Birthday Lunch, 12pm
The Belmont Senior Center will be closed on Monday, March 31st for cleaning.
WEEKLY HAPPENINGS:
- BINGO - played every Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Friday at 1pm. $1.50 extra for blackout.
- PINOCHLE - played on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 1pm. Cost is $1 plus .25 per set.
- FOOT CLINIC - call for an appointment, (406) 782-8668. Cost is $15 payable to Peggy Dean.
- SNEAKERS EXERCISE CLASS - every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 11am. Cost is $1.50 per class.
- WOOD CARVERS - meet every Thursday at 8:30am.
- FRESH CINNAMON ROLLS AND COFFEE FOR $3 - Tuesdays from 8am to 10:30am
- RIDES TO MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS AND SHOPPING - please call at least 24 hours in advance. Doctor Appointments are Mondays and Wednesdays, $5 one-way or $8 round trip, times depend on availability.
- FRIDAY SHOPPING EXCURSIONS are $10, times dependent on availability.
