If you've been bored out of your mind lately, it may be time to switch things up a bit with a game or two of SINGO coming soon to the Butte Elks Lodge! Yes, SINGO is not your average, run of the mill, yawn fest of a challenge, but a nice change of pace when you need a break from the norm. SINGO is basically musical bingo and nothing says "stress relief" like busting out a tune! So, here's the breakdown; each player is given a free SINGO card (similar to Bingo) with the names of different songs in the squares instead of numbers. While the "SINGO DJ" plays clips from various songs, you can sing along while matching up the song titles on your card. That's right! You can sing to your heart's content and, in the process, win prizes and release some of those endorphins that have you pent up from your work schedule, and life in general! All SINGO participants must be 18 years of age or older. (continued...)

Now, the crew at the Butte Elks Lodge doesn't want to appear pushy, so although singing along during SINGO is encouraged, it is NOT required! Instead, maybe you'd like to be that person who "observes" the room! That in itself can be fun! The next "SINGO" social, so to speak, will be March 9th, again, at the Butte Elks Lodge (206 W Galena). Play begins at 6:30 p.m. with a $5 dollar fee per card. The option to purchase additional cards is available. So, during your next shower or while driving solo in your car, start preparing those vocal cords for a game of SINGO, March 9th!
