Butte Amateur Hockey Association fundraiser set for September 27 at Butte Depot
Friday, September 27th has been set as the date for the 2nd annual "Breakaway Bash" fundraiser for the Butte Amateur Hockey Association and Copper City Kings youth hockey program. The event will take place at the Butte Depot at 818 S. Arizona with the doors opening at 5:30pm with cocktail hour and the start of the silent auction. Dinner is served at 6:30pm and cocktail attire is suggested.
This event played a huge role in the operations of the Butte Community Ice Center last year. The ice center is managed and operated by the youth hockey association, the Butte Copper City Kings. In addition to many smaller rentals and uses, the Ice Center hosts the Montana Tech Orediggers ACHA Hockey Team, the Butte Irish Junior Hockey team and the Copper City Curling Club. This is an amazing community space that brings in thousands of visitors to Butte every year, visitors who patronize our restaurants, hotels and stores. The Breakaway Bash helps with continued maintenance and improvements to this facility.
Individual tickets are available for $75 and table sponsorships are available for any business who would like to support this great local organization. Businesses who purchase tables will receive signage at the rink throughout the upcoming season in addition to recognition at the Bash.
BAHA is asking for your help in securing quality auction items for the silent auction and of course the best way you can support BAHA and the Copper City Kings is by attending. Please visit coppercitykings.org/bash for information on tickets and complete table sponsorship details.
