Meet The Butte High Bulldogs: A Promising Season Ahead

Last year the Butte High Bulldogs steamrolled through the final third of the season on their way to an appearance Saturday night at the state tournament. This season, an experienced and talented Bulldog team has their eyes on nothing less than one of the trophies, preferably the big one. Butte High gets the show rolling, on the road tonight in the Gallatin Valley for a date with the Belgrade Panthers.

Butte High is led by junior scoring machine Hudson Luedtke, a three-year starter, who went for over 30 three times last season, and senior sharpshooter Tocher Lee whose deadly aim extended the Bulldogs season last year with a thrilling buzzer-beater in the divisional tournament that punched the Bulldogs' ticket to state. Other returning lettermen include fan favorite Dylan "Bobby" Bache, another senior sharpshooter in Torre Tempel, seniors Spencer Callaghan and Kyler Kjersten and big men Braylon Larson, a sophomore, and freshman Brady Hanson. Yes, Hanson saw quality varsity playing time for the Bulldogs last year as an 8th grader.
