Bulldogs, Maroons post weekly activities schedules

The Butte High Bulldogs and Butte Central Maroons have posted their activities schedules for the upcoming week.  Let's see what our local teams and programs have on tap:

MONDAY:  The Butte Central JV golf team is the only local program in action today as they compete in the Park JV Invite which is an all day event.

TUESDAY: NO EVENTS SCHEDULED

WEDNESDAY: NO EVENTS SCHEDULED

THURSDAY:  The Butte High JV football team will take on Big Sky at 5pm at Naranche Stadium while the Bulldog golf team will compete in the Bozeman Invitational at Bridger Creek starting at 10am.  The Butte Central volleyball team will be in Dillon with the freshmen playing at 4:15, the JVs at 5:30pm and the varsity team at 7pm.

FRIDAY: The Butte Central Maroons will celebrate homecoming as the football team will host the Corvallis Blue Devils at 7pm at Bob Green Field at Alumni Coliseum.  The Butte High Bulldogs football team will be on the road at Missoula Big Sky with the subvarsity game at 3pm and the varsity contest at 7.  The Butte High Volleyball team will host a slate of matches against Flathead with the Frosh-Purple game as well as the sophomores at 3, the Frosh-White game and the JV game will both begin at 4:30 and the varsities will square off at 6pm.  Butte High's golf teams will be in action again at the Bozeman Invitational but this time at Valley View with tee times starting at 9am.  The Bulldog soccer program will be on the road at Flathead with the JV girls and the boys varsity games scheduled for 2pm while the JV boys and varsity girls will play at 4pm.  The Butte High Bulldogs cross country team will host the Butte Invite at the Highland View Golf Course at Stodden Park with races beginning at noon.  The Butte Central cross country team will be in the large field as well.  The Butte Central golf team will be competing in the Hamilton Invitational with play beginning at 10am.

SATURDAY: The Butte Central volleyball team will wrap up Homecoming Week as they host the Corvallis Blue Devils with the frosh at 1pm, the JVs at 2:30 and the varsity contest at 4pm at the Maroon Activities Center.  The Butte High flag football team will be hosting the Butte Jamboree at Copper Mountain Park with games starting at 11am.  The Bulldog volleyball team is also back at home, this time taking on Glacier with the Frosh-Purple and the sophomore matches starting at 11am, the Frosh-White and JV matches will get underway at 12:30pm and the varsities will square off at 2pm.  The Butte High soccer team will remain in the northwestern part of the state as they play at Glacier with the JV girls and varsity boys games starting at 9am to be followed by the JV boys and varsity girls at 11am.
