Butte Civic Center’s Winter Bazaar & Tradeshow this Saturday and Sunday
It's survived a pandemic AND the Dutton clan, yet it kept on growing. And it returns in big form to its original home this weekend. The Butte Civic Center's Winter Bazaar & Tradeshow, one year removed from the Butte Plaza Mall Events Center due to Yellowstone-1923 filming, returns to, well, the Butte Civic Center. And Civic Center Manager Bill Melvin is excited about this year's lineup. "This is going to be one of the biggest years we've ever had," Melvin said. Attendees can count on over 100 booths representing everything from wreaths and gift ideas to connectivity, home decor, treats and goodies and even public service.
The Bazaar is free to attend and Melvin said that over 100 vendors will be on hand. Bring your sweet tooth because many different confectioners will be on hand including The Pie Lady, Mountain Man Kettle Corn, MT Freeze Dried Candy and Grandma Jo's Handmade Candy. Many craftsmen and artisans will be showing their stuff including Bloom in Color Crafts, LK Crochet, Montana Handwoven and High Country Crafts, and there will be many booths with fare unique to Butte and Southwest Montana such as the 406 Store, Montana River Gifts, Copper City Custom Creations and Copper Canyon Candles. Service organizations such as the Rotary Club and Butte Cares will also be on hand as well as direct sales representatives and many commercial businesses as well.
The Bazaar runs from 9am to 5pm on Saturday and from 9am to 4pm on Sunday. Admission is free. For more information, please call (406) 497-6400.
