Butte High, Central list weekly activities.

Butte High and Butte Central have posted their weekly activities schedules and both schools will be very busy this week.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Monday, the Butte Frosh II boys' basketball team will play Jefferson at home with a 4pm start time. Tomorrow is a full schedule of games as the Bulldog Boys host Missoula Big Sky. Freshmen and sophomores tip off at 4pm, the JV squads mix it up at 5:30 and the varsity game is scheduled for 7pm. The program will then head to the Garden City on Friday to face Missoula Hellgate. The frosh play at 4:15, the sophomores at 5pm, the JVs at 5:45 and the varsity game will be at 7:15.

The Butte Central JV team is on the road Monday with a 5:30 contest at Harrison. Tomorrow the freshmen travel to Boulder to take on the Jefferson High froshmore team at 4:15. On Wednesday, the Maroons will have their makeup games with Corvallis from January 28 which were postponed due to weather. The Maroon boys will host the Blue Devils with the freshmen at 4:15, the JVs at 5:45 and the varsity contest at 7:15pm. Wednesday it's another home series for the boys with Stevensville coming to town. The JV game will be at 5:45 and the varsity at 7:15. Stevensville does not have a freshman team. The regular season wraps up for the Maroons on Saturday as Hamilton comes to town. The Maroon Activities Center will again be the venue with a 1pm start time for the freshmen, 2:30 for the JVs and 4pm for the varsity squads.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Butte High's girls' teams will be on the road at Missoula Big Sky on Tuesday with the sophomores tipping off at 4pm, the JVs at 5:30 and the varsity programs at 7pm. Friday the girls will be at home against Missoula Hellgate. The Freshmen and Sophomore games will begin at 4pm, the JV game will be at 5:30 and the varsity game will be at 7pm.

The Butte Central girls will be on the road to face Corvallis on Wednesday with the JVs at 5:45 and the varsities at 7:15. Another road trip awaits the girls on Thursday, this time to Stevensville with the freshmen at 4:15, the JVs at 5:45 and the varsities at 7:15. Saturday the program returns home to face Hamilton in the regular-season finale. The sub varsity games will be taking place at the Butte Civic Center with the freshmen at 1pm and the JVs at 2:30. The varsity game will be part of a varsity doubleheader with the boys. The girls will play in the nightcap scheduled for a 5:30 start time.

WRESTLING

It is State Tournament time and qualifying wrestlers from Butte High's boys and girls programs as well as the BC boys will be competing at the Billings Metra this Friday and Saturday.

SWIMMING

State Meet time in swimming, too. The meet will be taking place in Great Falls Friday and Saturday.
