Butte High, Butte Central post weekly sports schedules

Butte Central and Butte High have posted their weekly activities schedules.  Here's a look at what the Maroons and Bulldogs have on tap.

MONDAY:  It's the JV Jamboree for the Butte Central football team who will be seeing action at 4pm.  For the Butte High Bulldogs, there will be subvarsity action with the Frosh-Purple playing at Dillon at 4:15 and the Sophomores to follow at 5:30

THURSDAY:  The Butte High frosh will host Helena at 5pm.  The Bulldog volleyball team will be on the road at Missoula Big Sky with the Frosh-Purple as well as the Sophomore games at 4pm, the Frosh-Whites and the JVs will play at 5:30 and the varsities will face off at 7pm.  The Bulldog soccer team is also playing at Missoula Big Sky with the boys varsity and girls JV games scheduled for 3pm with the girls varsity and boys JV games at 5pm. Butte High's Cross Country team is also in action with a meet in Bozeman at the Cottonwood Golf Course starting at 11am.

FRIDAY:  The Butte Central Volleyball team will be hosting the Blocktober Classic which will see 26 teams competing over 2 days at the Maroon Activities Center, the Montana Tech HPER Complex and the Butte Civic Center.  The Maroons are in Pool C which will be played Friday at the MAC and will see matches against Hamilton at 9am, Columbia Falls at 10:45am, Billings Central at 1:05pm, Florence at 2:15pm, Lockwood at 3:25pm, Browning at 4pm and Sidney at 5:10pm.  Organizers note that games may begin early.  The Butte Central football team is hosting the Dillon Beavers for Senior Parent Night at Bob Green Field.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7pm.  Seniors and their parents will also be honored at the Butte High soccer games against Glacier.  Varisty games will be played at Bulldog Memorial Stadium with the girls game at 2:30pm and the boys at 4:30pm.  The JV games will be at the Jeremy Bullock Memorial complex with both the boys and girls games getting underway at noon.    Butte High's football team is on the road at Helena with the subvarsity game at 3pm and the varsity contest at 7pm.

SATURDAY:  The Butte Central Volleyball team will wrap up play in the Blocktober Classic while the BC Cross County team will be at the Western A Classic in Frenchtown.
