The Butte Native Wellness Center at 55 E. Galena Street is having an Open House Thursday December 1 from 6 to 8 pm.  The public is invited to meet the staff and to take a tour of the clinic where snacks and refreshments will be provided.  All ages are welcome.

What is the Butte Native Wellness Center? The Butte Native Wellness Center is a certified outpatient clinic, serving the American Indian and Alaska Native communities not only here in Butte but in our surrounding communities as well. They provides primary health and wellness services such as mental health, substance abuse recovery, diabetes care, education and prevention, and other primary healthcare essentials and also promote a healthy community for all patients with the goal of improving overall wellness.  What makes the BNWC unique is their mindfulness towards the respective cultures of American Indians and Alaska Natives.  The staff at the Butte Native Wellness Center works with the individual patient in finding a treatment plan that is not only effective but also is culturally relevant and that respects their cultural background.  They strive to find a balance between today's modern treatments that are cutting edge and traditional healing practices that have been around for thousands of years.

At the Butte Native Wellness Center, their patients represent all 12 Montana Tribes and incorporate the holistic practices of the medicine wheel, smudging and drumming into their practices.  Their services are many including diabetes care, Covid-19 testing and immunizations, elder care, substance-abuse care as well as primary and pediatric care.  Learn more about their open house and all of their services on their website.
