Butte Trolley Tours are ready to go for Summer 2025
One sure sign that summer has finally arrived is when you come across the famous Butte Trolley cruising the streets of the Mining City, off on another one of its history tours and generally with very few empty seats. And with good reason. For generations the Butte Trolley Tour has been one of the best ways to get familiar with the rich and colorful history of the Mining City, even if you are not a tourist. The trolley tour hits all of Butte's historical hotspots and with a very knowledgeable driver who will explain the significance and history of the many sites that you will see.
Butte's Trolley Tours are ready to get things fired up for Summer 2025 and have released a schedule where you can reserve your seat now for any one of their three daily tours which leave the Butte Chamber of Commerce Mondays thru Saturdays at 10am, 12:30pm and 3pm and on Sundays at 10am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm. A full run of daily tours will start on Friday.
In addition to the daytime trolley tours, again this year, Spooks and Spirits - Whispers from the Grave will take place on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 with the tour group meeting at Headframe Spirits. The tour is led by master historian and expert ghost hunter Chris Fisk and will explore many of the allegedly haunted locations in Uptown Butte. Although this tour is not for the faint of heart it is incredibly entertaining and fun. It is an adult only tour and it fills up fast so book now.
For details on these tours or any of the other great events happening in Butte this summer, stop by the Chamber of Commerce at 1000 George St.
