From tonight's Open Mic Night to this weekend's original re-imagining of a Greek classic dinner theater style, Butte's Covellite Theater is offering a little bit of something for everyone this week.  Here's a breakdown of what's happening.

TUESDAY - OPEN MIC NIGHT

Dan Mitchem, described as an "actor, pirate, magician and all-around entertainer will be your host and the doors open at 7pm.  Are you an aspiring poet, musician, comedian, dancer or entertainer?  Sign ups are at the door, everyone is invited to perform or just hang out and meet your neighbors.  Showtime is shortly after 7pm.

WEDNESDAY - FREE MOVIE ON THE BIG SCREEN

Catch the People's Choice winner, Killers of the Flower Moon (2023), on the big screen upstairs or downstairs in the lounge area with free popcorn.  The movie is about greed, power and betrayal during the Osage Nation murders which took place in the 1920s.  Doors open at 6:30pm, showtime is set for 7pm and although the screening and the popcorn are complimentary, donations are encouraged.

THURSDAY - UPTOWN COMEDY

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY - ECSTACY WORLD PREMIERE

A Covellite Players Production, ECSTACY is a modern dinner theater adaptation of Euripides tragedy The Bacchae, set in a nightclub "pulsing with secrets where Gods and mortals collide".  The production is written and directed by the talented Melanie Rae Wendt and catering is provided by Saffron Medditeranean.  A variety of seating options are available here.
