Who will be the winner of these awards at the Butte Chamber Annual Dinner?

Now in its 112th seating, the annual Butte Chamber of Commerce Dinner and Awards is an evening that showcases all that is right in the world of Butte business.  And as we see more and more, Butte businesses are growing in size and in number.  This year, again, several distinguished awards will be presented to various leaders in our business community.  Let's look at the awards they'll be presenting and how you can make your nomination for these awards known.

MARKO LUCICH SPIRIT OF SERVICE AWARD

This award will recognize and individual's personal contributions to the community's welfare while exemplifying Marko's devotion and commitment to serving others and putting Butte first.

MARGIE THMOPSON DISTINGUISHED WOMAN IN BUSINESS AWARD

Each recipient will be a business owner or leader in the Butte community.  They will exemplify Margie's legacy of forward-thinking innovation in business, selfless leadership, community involvement and dedication to paying it forward.  This person will be an unabashed advocate and ambassador for Butte and a mentor for her fellow women in business all while exhibiting exceptional character and integrity's welfare.  They will, as well, exemplify Marko's devotion and commitment to serving others and putting Butte first.

MIKE VENNER SPIRIT OF BUTTE AWARD

This award will be presented to a individual who exemplifies the resiliency and the love of life, family and community that Mike had.  Recipients of the award should have the ability to unite people regardless of circumstances.

HAROLD MCGRATH AWARD

Established in 1986, this award is presented to an individual business, nonprofit organization, civic or government entity that has enhanced or contributed significantly to the "quality of life" of the Butte-Silver Bow community.  Recipients must hae had an obvious and recognizable impact on the community.  There will be 2 awards presented, one for small businesses of 1-49 employees and one for large businesses of 50 or more employees.
