Here’s what’s going on at The Covellite this week

Looking for something to beat the midsummer blues?  The Covellite at 215 W. Broadway has got plenty of activity this week and here is a look at what you can expect.

TUESDAY - OPEN MIC NIGHT

Aaron Armstrong hosts another fun Open Mic Night in the lounge from 8pm to 11pm.  Signups start at 7pm and all performers are welcome.  Sponsored by Ziply Fiber and Townsquare Media.

WEDNESDAY - FREE MOVIE NIGHT

Wednesday's free movie is 2020's Crip Camp starting at 8pm on the big screen and a service of Clearwater Credit Union and Townsquare Media.

FRIDAY - OFF IN THE WOODS CONCERT

Off In The Woods brings their genre-bending Montana sound to The Covellite for a night of soul, funk, reggae, and open-tuned acoustic grooves. The seven-piece band features a full horn section, drums, bass, guitar, Hammond organ, and percussion/synth textures, creating a rich live sound built for dancing and deep listening alike.  $5 cover, doors at 7pm, showtime is set for 8.

SATURDAY - LIVE COMEDY WITHF MAX MEISEL

Max Meisel is an LA-based, New York-born comedian on his first headlining tour titled “The L.A. Sober Tour”. While Max certainly does not maintain a sober lifestyle, the tour’s title takes a fun dive into the differences between living in New York and LA while staying true to his New York roots.  Showtime is set for 8pm, advance tickets are $15 and available here.  Tickets at the door are $20.
