Neon Halloween Party Friday at Butte’s Science Mine
The Science Mine in Uptown Butte is quickly growing its reputation for a unique, hands-on center for young minds to explore science and critical thinking. Their mission? "To provide a family fun environment to make, learn, invent, craft, recycle, build, think, play and be inspired by celebrating arts, crafts, engineering, science, and technology in our community." Their goal is "to encourage scientific literacy for all people by exploiting our natural inquisitiveness and love of play." With these guidelines, The Science Mine is just as quickly growing its reputation for a fun place for family activities that combine activity and learning for kids of all ages. For Halloween, the Science Mine has something special planned.
You're invited to join the Science Mine for a free, family-friendly Neon Halloween Party at 36 E. Granite Street here in Butte Friday, October 25th starting at 6pm. An enjoyable evening of glowing activities and science is promised to attendees who are encouraged to show up in costume, although costumes are not necessary to participate. Event organizers are planning a fun night of neon lights, interactive science exhibits and Halloween-themed activities and fun for all ages. Exhibits include lessons in subjects such as electricity, communications, pressure and even water and the environment presented in fun, real-world situations. Halloween exhibits are promising a unique, creative and enjoyable way to celebrate the season with your family while enjoying science in a festive atmosphere.
