The Science Mine here in Butte is truly a hidden treasure not just for the Mining City, but all of Southwest Montana.  What is the Science Mine?  It's a hands-on science discovery center that is open to kids of all ages.  They promote learning and discovery and have many different ways to show the fun and explorative side of science to anyone with an eagerness to learn and discover.

The Science Mine is 100% family friendly and have another exciting Family Science Night planned for this Saturday, March 22nd at their location at 36 E. Granite St., in the Sears Building.  The fine folks at the Science Mine invite you to come explore the many hands-on exhibits, uncover new scientific wonders, and create unforgettable memories with your family.   The Science Mine is also excited to announce that they have added many new exhibits since the last Mining City Family Science Night, so there’s even more for families to explore and discover.

Family Science Night at the Science Mine is perfect for curious minds of all ages as their guests will learn, discover, explore, and create in a space designed for hands-on science fun.  There is really no excuse to miss this one as the admission fee for the event has been waived thanks to a generous donation from Town Pump.
