Montana Tech Basketball is gearing up for an unprecedented defense of their Frontier Conference regular season and tournament championships.  They are the only back-to-back-to-back holders of both in conference history and the road to a 4th has at least become a little clearer as the Frontier Conference portion of next season's schedule has been released.  15 Frontier Conference games are on the schedule with the Orediggers meeting the University of Providence Argos, the University of Montana-Western Bulldogs, the Carroll College Fightin' Saints and the MSU-Northern Lights three times each.  The Diggers will have the odd game at home against the Argos, the Lights and the Bulldogs.  Here are the dates with times TBA:

  • Saturday, January 25th - ROCKY MOUNTAIN COLLEGE
  • Thursday, January 30th - at Carroll College
  • Saturday, February 1st - MONTANA-WESTERN
  • Thursday, February 6th - at University of Providence
  • Saturday, February 8th - MSU-NORTHERN
  • Thursday, February 13th - at Rocky Mountain College
  • Saturday, February 15th  - at Carroll College
  • Thursday, February 20th - MONTANA-WESTERN
  • Saturday, February 22nd - UNIVERSITY OF PROVIDENCE

The Frontier Conference is expected to follow previous seasons' protocol with the men playing the second half of a doubleheader with the women following the same schedule and playing first.  Exact times along with the 2024-25 nonconference schedule is expected to be released within the next few weeks.
