This Saturday is the big day as far as the annual Harrington Pepsi/Butte Cares Helping Hands Clothing Drive goes.  Saturday, the drive wraps up with "Distribution Day" as all of the clothes and winter gear that has been collected over the last month is given away, but the day has grown to be a lot more.

Distribution Day begins at 10am at the south end of the building in the former Stage/Butte Events Center location.  At this time, those in need are welcome to peruse the many tables of clothing, bedding, winter gear and more and take what they need for themselves or their families.  But this is just the start of the day.  From 11am until 2pm, our guests will be able to enjoy a free lunch courtesy of Mike Thatcher of CCCS Inc. and our partners and friends at Harrington Pepsi of Butte along with complimentary haircuts thanks to the kind hearts of many of our local cosmetologists, barbers and beauticians.  Representatives of the Butte-Silver Bow Health Department will also be on hand providing flu shots.  Everything at Distribution Day is completely free of charge and families as well as individuals are welcome.  The clothing distribution will close at 5pm.

The Clothing Drive owes a big thank you to Ziply Fiber for their incredible partnership, to Butte Cares for their leadership, inspiration and tireless work, and, of course to our business partners who helped collect all of the donations, Walmart, Steele's Warehouse, 3 Bears Alaska, the Chamber of Commerce, Ace Hardware and Denny Menholt Ford here in Butte and Dee Motor Company of Anaconda.
