As we head into the last half of the week, Butte High and Butte Central activities will be returning to action.  Here's a look at what's happening.

WEDNESDAYButte High's golf team is in competition at the Western AA Divisional at the Bill Roberts Golf Course in HelenaButte Central's golf team will be taking advantage of a practice day in Whitefish where the Western A Divisional will be taking place tomorrow.

THURSDAYAs mentioned, Butte Central's golf team will be competing in the Western A Divisional in Whitefish.  Butte High will be wrapping up play at the Western AA Golf Tournament in Helena.  The Maroon volleyball team will be on the road competing in Stevensville with the freshmen at 4:15pm, the JVs at 5:30 and the varsity match at 7pm. The Butte High volleyball team is also on the road at Helena.  The Frosh/Purple team and the sophomores play at 4pm, Frosh/White and JV games are at 5:30 and the varsity match is at 7pm.  

FRIDAY:  There will be Friday Night Lights.  Just not in Butte this week.  The Butte High Bulldogs take their two-game winning streak on the road to Kalispell to battle Flathead High.  The frosh play at 2pm and the varsity contest is set for 6pm.  The Butte Central Maroons will look to get their first win of the season as they play in Browning at 7pm.  On the Flag Football side of things, the Butte High girls are also on the road with a contest in Billings vs. Lockwood at 3pm.

SATURDAY: Both Butte High and Butte Central's cross country teams will be competing at the Mountain West Invite in Missoula with races starting at 9am.  Butte Central's volleyball teams will be on the road again, this time in Frenchtown, with the freshmen playing at 1pm, the JVs at 2:30 and the varsities at 4pm.
