One of the longest-running sports camps in Montana returns for its 32nd year, as the Montana Tech Dual Sports Camp has been scheduled for June 12th- 15th. The camp is for 3rd – 8th-grade athletes and is designed to provide opportunities to learn the fundamentals of basketball and/or volleyball.

The camp will be run by Montana Tech Women’s Basketball Head Coach Jeff Graham, as well as Head Volleyball Coach Brian Solomon. The four-day camp will be half-day sessions as well as a full-day session. You can sign your young athlete up for either basketball or volleyball, or both.

The volleyball sessions will run from 9 am- 12 noon each day. They will be led by Head Coach Brian Solomon with help from current Oredigger volleyball players. Coach Solomon just wrapped up his 11th season as the Orediggers head coach, finishing as the Frontier Conference regular season champions, going 9-1 in conference, and 24-9 overall. In Coach Solomon’s 11 years, the Orediggers have made the national tournament 5 times.

The basketball sessions will take place from 1 pm- 4 pm each day. Oredigger Head Coach Jeff Graham will run the camps, assisted by current Orediggers. The camp will focus on fundamentals, individual instruction, and team play. Every session will have activities for all levels and abilities. Head Coach Jeff Graham enters the summer looking to build on the progress he and his staff have made in year one. Before taking the Montana Tech head coaching job, Coach Graham led the Belt Huskies to 6 state titles and 11 conference titles in 15 seasons.

Campers will need to come to camp dressed in gym shoes and appropriate clothing and provide their own knee pads if desired.

Again the camp will run from June 12-15 on Kelvin Sampson Court, for 3-8th grade girls. You can sign up for half-day sessions (either basketball or volleyball) or, you can sign up for the full-day sessions. The full days include lunch.
