If you are looking for a chance to see the Orediggers in action, there is no time like the present.  The Montana Tech men's and women's basketball teams will both have their home-openers tonight and tomorrow at Kelvin Sampson Court and expectations are high for both squads.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL VS. DICKINSON STATE, THURSDAY 6PM

The Oredigger women bring a 1-1 record into tonight's contest after a win last Saturday over Multnomah, 78-55 in Portland Oregon.  They later fell to Portland State of the Big Sky Conference, but not by much, 63-55 in an exhibition contest.  The one loss that goes on their season record came at the hands of these very same Dickinson State Blue Hawks who bested the Orediggers 80-76 on October 24th in Dickinson, ND.  Dickinson State is 3-1 overall with the aforementioned win over the Orediggers, a 70-61 win over Montana-Western and a 76-70 win over Southwestern Christian.  Their lone loss was a 97-73 setback to Mount Mercy.

MEN'S BASKETBALL VS. NORTHWEST UNIVERSITY, FRIDAY 7PM

The Montana Tech men are coming off an unprecedented three-straight Frontier Conference regular season and tournament championships and would consider anything less than a fourth a disappointment.  Coach Adam Hiatt's squad, although losing heavily to graduation, has an impressive array of new faces to go along with returning veterans Keeley Bake, Ifeyani Okeke, Camdyn LaRance and Hayden Diekhans and are 2-0 so far on the young season with blowout wins over Walla Walla,96-59, and Evergreen State, 93-71 last weekend in Dillon.  Montana Tech is ranked #10 in the preseason NAIA coaches' poll.  The Diggs' tipoff will follow a contest between Jamestown and Montana-Western, scheduled for a 5pm tipoff.  Northwestern's only game thus far is a 90-64 exhibition loss at Idaho.

On Saturday, Montana-Western will take on Northwestern at 5pm followed by the Orediggers vs. Jamestown at 7pm.
