For families who are looking for something fun, creative and, well, screen-free to help their kids enjoy a productive summer, the Orphan Girl Children's Theatre has a summer camp that may be just what your youngster is looking for.

HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING

The OGCT has a summer camp planned that will immerse your child in a magical world of theater through the presentation of "Dinosaurs Before Dark", a musical based on the  best selling book from the Magic Tree House Series.  The summer camp will run in two sessions, the first running July 7th through the 11th and the second from July 14th through the 18th, both from 10am until 3pm.  Campers will also have the option of attending a "Super Session" that includes both weeks.

Week One campers will perform selections from Dinosaurs Before Dark at 4pm on July11th.  Week Two campers will perform selections from Dinosaurs Before Dark at 5pm on July18th.  Super Session campers will perform the full musical Dinosaurs Before Dark at 6:30pm on July18 & 19.

Regular session tuition is $250 per week, Super Session campers are $450.  Registration will include a logo bag with a camp kit including all supplies that will be needed for the week.  In addition to having a lot of fun, campers will learn theatre skills through rehearsals, workshops, and group activities.

*Participation is never denied based on inability to pay - financial aid is available.

The Orphan Girl Children's Theatre is located at 316 W. Park St. through the Washington St Entrance. Doors are locked during the day for the protection of your young artist.  Healthy snacks are provided twice daily but the staff asks that you please provide lunch and that you alert the staff of any dietary restrictions or allergies.
