Donate to Meals on Wheels program at Belmont Center
It is nothing new to be reading that the price of groceries is going through the roof. Inflation has been something that we've lived with all of our lives but recently prices just seem to be out of control and getting higher as we speak. It doesn't seem to be that long ago that a can of Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup at WalMart in Butte was less than 50 cents. It is well over a buck now and this is true from soup to, well, nuts.

Hillcrest Bazaar set for October 19th
Is there anything more wholesome or American than an elementary school bazaar? Especially in the fall, you can practically smell the home-baked pumpkin pie and cookies. But bazaars are so much more. Handmade crafts and pottery. Jewelry and cupcakes. And these days, even face painting and music. Here in the Mining City, one particular bazaar has not only become an autumn tradition, but it has grown from the walls of the elementary school gymnasium to the biggest arena in Silver Bow County. Of course, I am talking about the annual Hillcrest Bazaar Arts and Crafts Show, and it is coming to the Butte Civic Center on October 19th.
Be "Bear Aware" in Southwest MT Forests
With fall approaching, even inside of city limits there has been plenty of bear activity this year. You can be sure that if bears are wandering into town, they are certainly active in the forest this time of year. We had a chance to sit down with local forester and outdoor recreationalist Jocelyn Dodge who offered tips on how to avoid potential bear encounters.

Tim Montana to perform Anthem at NFL game
I think in my last article I mentioned the incredible week that Tim Montana is having. Thankfully I didn't say anything like "he'll never top this one". Because I have seen what Tim Montana is capable of. Or at least I thought I did. But even by Tim Montana's standards, this one is big.
