First Cruise Nite brings a menagerie of entries to Butte’s Redline Sports
'Well, if we wanted to wait until one of the hottest days of the summer for our first Cruise Nite of the summer on KMBR, we certainly accomplished our mission. Even with the mercury at 90 degrees as we began our broadcast, it certainly did not deter a large and enthusiastic crowd from gathering at Redline Sports on Harrison Avenue and many of them brought out some impressive classic cars, trucks and motorcycles for the first of several Cruise Nites we'll be hosting throughout the rest of the summer.
Check out the old-time Metro delivery truck.
We had everything from sportsters to muscle cars, some impressive trucks and cool motorcycles competing for the People's Choice Award which we gave away at the end of the evening. Of course, it wouldn't be a Cruise Nite without a food truck, and we had our pals from Turk's on hand to feed the masses.
Once the votes were tallied, our winners were Gilbert Herrera in the motorcycle division with his awesome 2015 Indian Chief Vintage and in the car and truck category our winner was Joe Wall and his 1976 Datsun 280z.
Join us as we host our next KMBR Cruise Nite on Wednesday, July 24th from 6 to 8pm at Rocky Mountain Car Wash at 3410 Harrison Avenue.
