Montana-grown Hard Rock Show Saturday at Butte’s Covellite Theater
If this warm weather has you wanting to rock out, you will not have to look any further than Butte's Covellite Theater as this Saturday they will melt your face off with a rock tripleheader featuring Montana-made bands American Philosophy, Midst of War and Vittima.
American Philosophy hails from Helena, MT and has been releasing music for over ten years. AP " strives to push the envelope with high-energy live performances of adrenaline-raged Hard Rock." American Philosophy has performed with such mainstream acts as Saliva, BobaFlex, All Good Things, Blistered Earth, Mark Rizzo, Pathos Logos and Dragged Out. American Philosophy is made up of Sheby Bean, Kyler Stenquist and Shawn Bryan.
Midst Of War is a Hard Rock/Groove Metal Band based out of Billings, MT. The band has been together for 2 years and recently released their first demo in October of last year.
Vittima is an Anaconda/Missoula-based hard rock band that is "FDA-approved to prevent and cure all diseases." The band consists of guitarist/vocalist Caleb Zenahlik, bassist/vocalist Matthew Ryan Skiles and drummer Chris Illston.
Doors open at 7 and showtime is 8pm this Saturday night and advance tickets are available here. Suggested donation is $10.
Saturday's show is just a taste of what the Covellite has in store this week. Upcoming shows include an Open Mic Nite this Tuesday, a free screening of Les Miserables on the big screen Wednesday evening and an Indie/Folk/Americana evening this Friday with bands Shadow Basket, Way Down North and Mender.
