Things just continue to roll for Tim Montana.  On Monday, September 30th, Tim will be on the bill with two of the late 1990s and early 2000s biggest bands, Creed and Tonic, as the "Summer of 99" Tour hits the Hartford Healthcare Ampitheater in Bridgeport, Conneticut.

Creed blasted into the mainstream in 1997 with their debut album "My Own Prison" and by the time their sophomore album "Human Clay" hit shelves in 1999 they had established themselves as one of the biggest bands in the world behind songs such as the stadium anthem, "Higher", and their Grammy winning "With Arms Wide Open".  2001's "Weathered" CD would produce another worldwide smash with "My Sacrifice" but internal friction amongst the band along with substance abuse issues would disband the group shortly thereafter.  After a couple of brief reunions, a sober and healthy Creed regrouped once again this spring for the "Summer of '99" Tour which has been one of the summer's most successful.

Tonic was all over rock radio in 1997 with their smash hit "If You Could Only See", which was the year's most-played song, and found success on follow-ups, "You Wanted More" and "Take Me as I Am".

Tim Montana is riding the success of his latest CD, "Savage", which has produced his first top ten singles in the first release, "The Devil You Know" and the album's title track.  Montana has recently been on the road with Bush and is preparing for a string of dates later this year with Myles Kennedy.
