Tim Montana getting Grammy attention
Some pretty big news on the Tim Montana front again. We know. You've heard this before. We told you about his date last September 30th opening for Tonic and Creed, a show that he completely knocked out of the park. We told you about his return to Butte on November 22nd as he headlines a date at the Mother Lode Theater and believe me, we are counting down the days to that. He spent a Sunday in Pittsburgh, PA enjoying the Steelers/Chargers game after performing the Star Spangled Banner. He's spent a summer playing with the likes of Jerry Cantrell, Bush and Motley Crue and he has a string of late fall and winter dates opening for Myles Kennedy. He's coming up on the anniversary of the date that he and Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top assumed ownership of the World Famous Wise River Club and he is gaining worldwide fame with the release of his first rock record, Savage, which has produced hits such as the title track, "Die Today", and the Top Ten "Devil You Know".
So, yeah, Tim Montana has done some stuff over the past year or so. And speaking of "Savage"? Well, it turns out, music industry bigwigs have noticed as well and from the looks of a Facebook post yesterday, Tim's 2025 could potentially be even bigger.
Tim Montana is being considered for Grammy nomination in not one, but three categories, Best New Artist, Best Rock Song Performance for "Devil You Know" and Best Rock Album for "Savage". Incredible news.
We will stay close to this story and want to congratulate Tim for yet another incredible honor.
