If you're complaining that there's nothing fun to do this fall in the Mining City, you haven't been to the Covellite Theater at 215 W. Broadway.  There are great events going on all month long, but for now we'll focus with the next few days.  Check out these great events.

THURSDAY - UPTOWN COMEDY

Every Thursday through the end of November (with the exception of Thanksgiving) Uptown Comedy is at the Covellite.  It's a free show but patrons are asked to donate what they can to help out with expenses.  Doors open at 7:30pm and showtime is 8pm. The Covellite is pleased to offer a selection of various snacks and treats for sale, as well as beer, wine, canned cocktails, and nonalcoholic beverages including Kombucha/Coffee/CBD seltzers plus free popcorn.  Are you an aspiring comedian looking for stage time?  Email buttecomedy@gmail.com.  No joke!

SUNDAY - REHAB

For 25 years, Rehab has brought their high-octane, genre-bending fusion of Southern Rock, Hip Hop and raw storytelling to stages all around the world and Sunday night it's the Covellite Theater.  Rehab is led by founder Danny Boone and their music walks a "gritty line between rebellion and redemption driven by punchy beats, bluesy guitars and lyrics that tell real, lived-in stories."  Rehab exploded onto the scene with Southern Discomfort and their hit "It Don't Matter" and have toured with Linkin' Park and Kottonmouth Kings.  Rehab has even dabbled in the Country genre with their CMT Award nominee, The Bartender Song.  Get your advance tickets to this amazing show by clicking here.

These were the shows that weren’t exactly “must-see TV,” more like “might-see TV” — part of the culture, but you had to wonder: who was actually watching?
