Killer Queen: A Tribute To Queen July 22 at Butte’s Mother Lode Theatre

Do you remember the summer of 1985?  There was a lot of stuff going on that year.  Back to the Future came out along with Cherry Coke in a can and it seemed like popular music was at the top of its game.  There was Bruce Springsteen.  And Madonna.  Led Zeppelin reunited at Live Aid with Phil Collins on the drums.  Do you remember Live Aid?

Zeppelin reunited.  So did Black Sabbath.  Just about every major musical act on the planet performed at either the Philadelphia show or the London show, but it was one act that stole the show.  Both shows.  In fact, some have called it the greatest rock performance of all time.

Anyone who was lucky to see Queen live was certainly lucky, but classic rock fans in Southwest Montana are getting the opportunity to see the next best thing.  "Killer Queen: A Tribute to Queen" will be performing at the Mother Lode Theater in Butte on July 22.  This is one of the top Queen tribute acts in the world, thanks to their frontman, Patrick Myers, who pefectly captures the persona of Freddie Mercury.  Here's what critics have to say:
