Here is the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Route and a few safety tips
The big day is so close you can practically hear the shouts and cheers from the Uptown Area. St. Patrick's Day 2024 is going to be particularly big this year not only because it falls on a Sunday but because the weather forecast is just about perfect. Clear and dry with temperatures in the lower 50s. Perfect for St. Patrick's Day in Butte, America.
BE ALERT IF DRIVING UPTOWN
As always, there will be parts of the Uptown area that are going to be closed to vehicle traffic (other than emergency vehicles) so that people may congregate but please, if you're going to be driving around anywhere Uptown on Sunday, please go slow and be extremely aware of pedestrian traffic because sometimes St. Patrick's Day pedestrians are not going to be aware of you.
2024 UPTOWN BUTTE PARADE ROUTE
The 2024 St. Patrick's Day Parade is scheduled for a 12pm start. The parade route will begin at the corner of Arizona and Granite, it will proceed west on Granite Street to Montana, head south on Montana to Park St., and then finally go east on Park St. towards Arizona where the parade will commence. Bring your appetite because a variety of food vendors will be located on Main Street between Broadway and Park St.
Townsquare Media would like to recognize and thank the Butte America Foundation and Mr. Matthew Boyle in particular for the painstaking work that they do in making sure that St. Patrick's Day celebrations are successful here in the Mining City. It is their drive and dedication that makes this incredible Butte celebration possible. Great work, everyone!
