Coming to Butte over the weekend for St. Patrick's Day?  Well, you are in for a good time as events and parties are going on all over the Mining City.  Here are a few places and events you definitely need to check out while you're here.

CROWNING OF ST. UHRO, HELSINKI BAR, 6PM SUNDAY.

Taking place in the last standing block of historic Finntown, the annual crowing of St. Uhro will be at 6pm but there will be a big party lasting until the wee hours of Monday morning.  The Pipe and Drum band of the Edmonton Police Service are scheduled for an 8pm performance and there will be Blarney Stones and Terminal Dogs for sale for when you get hungry.  The Helsinki will be open at 11am Sunday and will have food and entertainment throughout the day.

It is not a St. Patrick's Day celebration without the music of the incredible Dublin Gulch.  For decades, this band has more than held their own against the top traditional Celtic bands anywhere in the world.  See for yourself.  Get tickets here.

ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE, 12PM MONDAY.  It's a given that the parade is one of the must-do events, but it is a short parade so you will want to be on the route by the time it starts at noon.  The parade route will begin at the corner of Arizona and Granite, proceeding West on Granite to Montana, South on Montana to Park St., and then finally East on Park St. towards Arizona where the parade will finish.

The Richest Hill is on Galena across from the parking garage is a great place to warm up after the parade with John Montoya from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.  If you are just fine with the outdoor sunshine and are ready to rock out, Check Engine Light will be playing in the parking lot from 1:30pm to 4:30pm as well.  Inside, from 5pm to 8pm, will be King Friday with a stellar lineup of Marco Kurilich, Kevin LaFond, John Stenson and Ken Rich.
