BUTTE, Mont. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the teams for the 2024 NAIA Men’s Basketball National Championship First & Second Rounds presented by Ballogy. Montana Tech is ranked No. 3 in the Naismith Quadrant of the 64-team field. The other teams coming to Butte next week are No. 6 Hope International (Calif.), No. 11 Lewis-Clark State (Idaho), and No. 14 Wayland Baptist (Texas).

The First Round is Friday in the HPER Complex. Hope International plays Lewis-Clark State in the first game.  Montana Tech will face Wayland Baptist to cap off the NAIA First Round. The doors open at 4 p.m. on Friday with the first game starting at 5 p.m. The Orediggers are scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip-off.

The winners of the First-Round games faceoff on Saturday. The Second-Round game tips-off at 6 p.m. and the doors open at 5 p.m.

Season Ticket holders will have the right of first refusal on their seat(s), and those seats must be claimed by Friday, March 8th. If not claimed they will be released to the general public on Monday, March 11th.

Tickets to the public will go on sale Monday, March 11th in the HPER, room 148 at 8:00 a.m. For more information or tickets, call 406.496.4105.
