Time to get ready for Snoflinga in Butte starting January 20th! Earlier this month, Tommy O. and Jasmine of Townsquare Media provided information on our websites about the many events planned for three solid days of winter fun! Now that it's crunch time let's revisit the itinerary! To get things off to a great start, Snoflinga's Open Ceremony will get underway this Friday from 5 pm to 9 pm at the Butte High Altitude Skating Center (34 Olympic Way). From there, it's a winter wonderland of top-notch events this Saturday and Sunday (January 21st and 22nd). (See Below)

  • Snoflinga Open Ski at Homestake Lodge 9 am to 4 pm
  • Snoflinga Oula at The Original Mine Yard 9 am to 10 am
  • Snoflinga Frosty 5K Fun Run/Walk 10 to 11:30 am - Original Mine **
  • Kids Snoday 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at Stodden Park in Butte **
  • Southwestern Polar Plunge for Special Olympics 3 to 4 pm Original Mine **

Events above marked with an asterisk * require online registration, which can be done right HERE or by visiting snoglinga.org/schedule. Also, the following events on January 21st are currently FULL, but you can still get in on the fun as a spectator: Nordic Skiing, Nordic Skate Skiing, Yoga, Snowshoe Tours, and Avalanche Fundamentals.

On JANUARY 22nd, Intro to Hockey and Curling Lessons are still available with registration required. Snoflinga is guaranteed to be one of the highlights of the season, so hopefully, you'll seize the moment and get involved. As always, follow all safety measures with any activity or sporting event. Make the most of winter with SNOFLINGA this weekend!
