Snoflinga Winter Festival to send off January with activities for everyone

The SNoFLINGA Winter Festival, started back in 2016, has grown into one of Montana's most anticipated annual events of the snowy, winter season.  Okay, this year we may be missing some of the usual snow, but that is not going to hamper this fun festival that will have events and activities for everyone primarily over Saturday and Sunday.

SNoFLINGA, whose translation from Swedish means simply "snowflake", has a very simple mission that has remained unchanged over the last decade.  Get outside.  Be active. Enjoy winter and celebrate community.  There are many ways to do so and here is a brief listing of events.

SATURDAY

• OULA  - 9am to 10am at the Cleveland Market on Galena
• OPEN SKI - 9am to 4pm at the Homestake Lodge
• MONTANA TECH SKI CLUB SKI SWAP - 9am to 4pm at HPER Complex
• SKATE SKI LESSON - 9:30am to 11am at Homestake Lodge
• CLASSIC SKIING LESSON - 9:45am to 11:15am at Homestake Lodge
• FROSTY 5K FUN RUN/WALK - 10am at Original Mineyard
• SKI & BOARD TUNE PARTY - 11am to 4pm at 5518 Designs.
• SLOW FLO YOGA - 11:30am to 12:30pm at The Yoga Cooperative.
• KIDS SNO DAY - 12pm to 2pm at Stodden Park
• SKATE SKI LESSON - 12pm to 1:30pm at Homestake Lodge
• CLASSIC SKIING LESSON - 1:15pm to 2:45pm at Homestake Lodge
• SOUTHWEST MONTANA POLAR PLUNGE - 3pm to 4pm at Stodden Park
• ENCHANTED WINTER GATHERING - 6pm to 8:30pm at Clark Park
• MONTANA TECH HOCKEY GAME - 7:30pm at Butte Community Ice Center
