Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Butte planning Rhythm and Brews Festival August 19

Even with the cold snap that is expected this week, we are moving closer to the summer festival season.  Really.  It will be here before we know it.  We've got huge events coming to town again this year like the annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration, the Montana Folk Festival, An Ri Ra, and much more.  Let's take a look at an event that will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Butte annual Rhythm and Brews Festival coming August 19.

Rhythm and Brews is a family-friendly day at the grounds of the Original Mineyard and it all starts out with one of the biggest car shows of the summer showcasing some of Southwest Montana's coolest rides.  While you enjoy all that the car show has to offer you can also wet your whistle with an array of local microbrews and other libations that will be available and enjoy cuisine from one of the many local food trucks that will be on hand.  The Rhythm and Brews Festival always has an elaborate table full of gift baskets for which you can place your bid in the silent auction and all the while enjoy the music of several local bands and performers that will be taking the stage thoughout the day.  Last year there was also a hot yoga class and a foam machine that the children fell in love with.
