It's never a dull game when the Dillon Beavers come to town and tonight should bring double the excitement as the Butte High Bulldogs host a girls/boys' basketball doubleheader tonight at the Butte Civic Center.

The girls tip off at 6pm and the Bulldogs are riding a two-game winning streak after getting past Belgrade on Saturday at the Civic Center and burying the Hawks in Bozeman in their season opener.  The Bulldogs are led by led by junior forward Brit Steward, junior guard Dylann Bartoletti and freshman guard Cadence Graham.  Dillon comes into the game with a 2-2 overall record with wins over Columbia Falls and Lewistown and losses to Bigfork and Billings Central.  The Beavers are led by Kylie Konen who is averaging an even 15 points per game on the young season, Kenlie Graham who adds just over 13, and recent Carroll College signee Halle Fitzgerald.

The Bulldog boys enter the game at 1-1 after a blowout season-opening loss at Bozeman and last Saturday's thrilling win over former coach Luke Powers and the Belgrade Panthers.  The Dogs are getting strong play early from sophomore guard Hudson Luedtke, junior guards Tocher Lee and Torre Tempel and the inside play of 6'5 senior Bo Demarais.  Dillon is 3-1 overall with wins so far over Columbia Falls, Bigfork and Lewistown to open the season before falling 41-47 to Billings Central over the weekend.  The Beavers are led by Carter Curnow's nearly 17 points-per-game while Kyler Engellant contributes just over 13.  The boys' game will tip off after the completion of the girls contest, at approximately 7:30pm.
