The Covellite Players are bringing an evening of emotional storytelling and community awareness to the stage later this month with a special theatrical event focused on mental health, resilience, and healing.

“A Path Through The Darkness” will take place Friday, May 29, at the Covellite Theatre in Butte. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the performance beginning at 7 p.m.

The production features a series of one-act plays exploring personal struggle, emotional survival, and the difficult moments people face while still finding ways to move forward. Organizers describe the evening as both thought-provoking and deeply human, using live theater to spark conversation around mental health and the importance of resilience.

Directed by Mikey O'Brien and David Coleman II, with additional support from Taylor O’Brien and Hammy, the production aims to balance vulnerability with hope through a variety of performances and storytelling styles.

The evening is expected to run approximately two hours and includes a 15-minute intermission, as well as a short silent auction during the event. Organizers say a portion of the proceeds will be donated to local mental health organizations in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, giving the production an added layer of community impact beyond the stage itself.

Advance tickets are priced at $15, while tickets purchased the day of the show will cost $20. A limited number of table packages are also available for $75, which includes seating for four people and four drink tokens.

Because some scenes and themes may be emotionally intense, organizers are advising viewer discretion, noting that certain content could be triggering for some audience members.

With limited seating available, attendees are encouraged to secure tickets early for what promises to be a meaningful and powerful night of local theater in Butte.  Advance tickets are available here.
