Butte’s Ridge Waters Waterpark To Open This Saturday
Ridge Waters Waterpark will open for the summer this Saturday, June 10th.
Stodden Park has long been a central hub of summertime activity in Butte and southwest Montana. Whether you grew up on the golf course, were on several softball teams, or were throwing horseshoes every weekend. Stodden is a place where we all have great memories.
Stodden Park now is a far cry from the Stodden we grew up with. From the addition of the Spirit of Columbia Gardens Carousel to the renovation of the playground equipment, and the transformation of the Corette Pool to the Ridge Waters Waterpark, Stodden Park is a destination worthy of a family trip.
Ridge Waters Waterpark covers over 14,000 square feet and includes Montana’s longest ‘lazy river’.
Beyond the lazy river, the waterpark contains a wide variety of ways to have fun on a summer day. There are a pair of water slides, a Diving board, a deep-water climbing wall, a water basketball basket, water volleyball, and more. There is also the 28-foot-tall play structure. This thing is massive and is designed to entertain kids of all ages. Speaking of all ages, there are plenty of ways to get the ‘really small ones’ to have some summer fun as well. There is a zero-depth entry pool, meaning no steps into the shallow end, it is a very gradual entry, so kids and parents can go at their own pace. There are also ground sprays, and an interactive water table to keep little ones entertained.
If you are into the idea of a pool atmosphere, but not the pool itself, they have you covered there as well, with plenty of poolside areas to relax.
Ridge Waters days are split into two sessions, the first from 12n – 3:00 pm, and the second from 4:00 pm – 7 pm.
The pool will open to lap swimmers on Monday, June 12th from 9:00 am – 11:00 am.
Kids 2 years of age and younger are free, 3 to 17 years of age are $5 a session, and adults, 18-60 are $6 per session. 10 visit punch cards are also available. Financial Assistance is also available, learn more about that HERE. You can also be a friend of Stodden and sponsor a child. If you would like to sponsor a child you can find out more HERE.

See you in the deep end!
