St. Patrick’s Day Fundraiser Dinner for Carousel set for March 7th
Everybody is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, and this year that saying comes with a fun and meaningful celebration in Butte. “Everybody is Irish on St. Pat’s Day” is a lively fundraiser benefiting the Spirit of Columbia Gardens Carousel, taking place on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
The event will be held at the carousel itself, located at 3105 Utah Street inside Stodden Park. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., giving guests plenty of time to settle in, explore, and enjoy the atmosphere before dinner is served at 6:30 p.m.
The evening promises a little something for everyone. Guests can enjoy live music, games, drinks, auctions, and a classic 50/50 raffle, all while supporting one of Butte’s most cherished attractions. And of course, no night at the carousel would be complete without carousel rides, which will be part of the fun throughout the evening.
Beyond the festivities, the carousel itself is worth celebrating. It’s truly a work of art, featuring intricately carved horses that were crafted with care, detail, and a lot of love. Each piece reflects the craftsmanship and pride that went into preserving this special landmark for future generations.
The pavilion surrounding the carousel also holds deep local history. Visitors can learn about the original Columbia Gardens and even see an original coaster car, offering a nostalgic look back at one of Butte’s most beloved gathering places.
It’s a night of Irish spirit, local history, and community fun—perfect for celebrating, supporting a good cause, and making memories along the way.
