In the inaugural week of Townsquare Media-Butte's "Pigskin Pick-10" contest, former Butte Central Maroon and Montana Tech Oredigger Seth Gardiner rose above the pack and picked all 10 games perfectly, winning a prize package including Justin Moore concert tickets, lunch or dinner at Mackenzie River Pizza, $25 in gas from Town Pump and a car wash from Splash and Dash.

Gardiner correctly predicted the outcomes of all 5 of the selected college games and all 5 of the selected NFL contests but he was not without a challenger.  Ashley P. of Butte also picked all 10 games correctly, but Gardiner won on the tiebreaker.  In the event of two or more winning entries, the winner is determined by who comes closest to correctly guessing the total amount of points scored in the Sunday night NFL game.  Last night, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Dallas Cowboys 19 to 3 with 22 total points scored by both teams.  Gardiner predicted 42 points would be scored while Ashley guessed 49.  Our local "experts" proved that we use the term very loosely here.  Tommy O went 8-2 while Paul Panisko went 5-5.  Panisko noted that all 5 of his college picks were spot on.  He did not mention anything about his NFL picks.
