Mark LaFond Benefit scheduled for June 19th at the Butte Depot
Friday, June 19th has been set as the date for a gathering of friends and family to benefit Mark LaFond who has recently undergone emergency heart surgery. The benefit is set to take place at the Butte Depot at 818 S. Arizona with events getting underway at 6pm. Mark above all is a dedicated father, son and brother and as such the evening will be family-friendly and all ages are welcome and invited to attend.
Mark is also a talented and very busy local musician and as such, many area musicians are expected to be on hand to show their respect and share their talents. Already on the entertainment side of the bill are the Ken Rich Band as well as High Ore Road and the call is out to anyone who wishes to lend a musical hand. A jam session is fully expected to round out the evening and participants are welcome to bring their own instruments. Amplifiers will be provided for those wishing to take part.
Raffle ticket items will be drawn as well as a 50/50 raffle, and live and silent auction are planned as well. Items from local businesses and individuals are needed. Anyone wishing to donate is encouraged to contact event organizers as soon as possible. Organizers are Stephanie LaFond at 817-676-8870, Meredith LaFond at 406-490-8399 or Kevin LaFond at 406-565-2926.
Refreshments and snacks will be offered so come hungry and bring the family. Above all this will be a day of support for a true Butte guy who has gone out of his way to help many. Thank you in advance for your consideration and we'll see you June 19th at the Butte Depot.
