Shawn O’Donnell’s putting on Music on Main fundraiser

One of Butte and Southwest Montana's favorite summer happenings, Music on Main, is gearing up for another wonderful season of music, food and community togetherness, just as it has for the past several summers.   On Thursdays during the summer, Main Street north of Park is turned into an urban ampitheater like no other as the street is closed, the lawnchairs and blankets come out, the food vendors line the perimeter and the fun begins.  Some of the areas top bands take the stage dancing starts with the heart of Uptown and the Highlands serving as the backdrop.  There is no bigger stage for area bands and one of the most enjoyable ways for families and community members to spend a summer evening.

Music on Main's success is due to the diligence and hard work of many and if you see Selena Pankovich of the M&M, Matt Boyle of the Mother Lode Theater or Irish Johnny of Shawn O'Donnell's, please tell them thank you for their efforts.  In fact, there's a pretty good chance you will run into them on Monday at Shawn O'Donnell's as a fundraiser for Music on Main's 2026 season will be taking place.

Get to Shawn O'Donnell's Irish Pub and American Grill at 125 N.Main on Monday evening between 5:30 and 9pm as 20% of sales will be donated to Music on Main (I highly recommend the Irish Stew or the Fish and Chips).  In addition to the incredible food and one-of-a-kind hospitality, Me and Thee, who you will also find this summer at the Orphan Girl's Underground Music Series, will be playing live from 5:30pm until 7:30pm providing some fantastic tunes.
